How long does it take to spin down dog blood?

Most compact centrifuges separate a canine blood sample in 5 to 10 minutes at 3,000 to 4,000 RPM. After drawing blood into a serum separator tube and allowing it to clot for 15 to 20 minutes, spinning produces a clear layer of serum ready for pipetting onto your test cassette.
