A Short History - CanineP4.Com
History of CanineP4
MR Diagnostic Services (MRDS) (the parent company of CanineP4.com) began in 2013 when Joe retired from 36 years as a field medical diagnostic engineer, repairing, installing, and training hospital and veterinary laboratory staff on dozens of types of diagnostic equipment for large medical diagnostic manufacturing companies.
In 2013, Joe and Dustin Decker started selling refurbished medical equipment and parts, and providing third-party repair and refurbishment services to human and veterinary labs across the U.S. They sold, installed, and supported immunology testing systems while also performing equipment uninstalls and parts sales.
Sam Decker joined in 2015; later in the year, Drew Decker joined the team, and we formally established MRDS as an LLC. Some time in 2019, Micah Decker was added to the team. In 2023, Dustin left to start his own business. The company operated from home garages in Wild Rose and Saxeville, Wisconsin, a small Neenah, Wisconsin workshop, a Kenosha, Wisconsin building, and finally settled into its current 10,000 sq ft facility in Neenah in 2021.
In the spring of 2019, a customer called the support line and asked if we had a reliable way to test canine progesterone for breeding. Sam and Joe sourced and tested the Wondfo Finecare Vet, branded it Quick Scan 1000, and began selling it. Shortly after, CanineP4 became a direct partner with Wondfo USA and the primary technical support resource for all Finecare Vet systems sold in the U.S.
