The vortexer is a nice piece of equipment, although the name misled me a little.
I presumed this vortexer was battery operated, which it is not, it requires connecting to power to work. I would have opted for the less expensive version knowing this before my purchase.
One could shake buffers instead of using a vortexer, however using this you know that semen and the buffer are well blended
